Nirvana
(American Motor Boat, 1915)

Underway, prior to her World War I era Navy service.
This pleasure craft was built by S.G. Banner of Staten Island, New York. Acquired by the Navy on 21 May 1917, she was placed in commission on 10 August 1917 as USS Nirvana (SP-706). The boat was returned to her owner on 20 January 1919.
