USS Remey
(DD-688)

Underway at sea, probably in late 1951 or early 1952, soon after she was recommissioned during the Korean War build up.
Note that she still has a pole mast, World War II era radars, all ten 21-inch torpedo tubes, twin 40mm gun mounts just forward of her bridge and 20mm guns on her fantail.
This photograph was received by the Naval Photographic Center in December 1959, but was actually taken several years earlier.

Official U.S. Navy Photograph, from the collections of the Naval History and Heritage Command.
