USS Margo, a 34-ton patrol motorboat, was originally built in 1913 at Camden, New Jersey, as a civilian pleasure craft. She was leased by the Navy in June 1917, armed and placed in service. Margo operated in the Delaware River area through the rest of World War I. She was returned to her owner in December 1918.
