Content/Overall Organization
General Suggestions/Comments:
- Throughout the module there are several instances where the discover and collaborate pages have nothing but questions on them. The practice page was created for the purpose of having questions such as these. Please move any questions to these pages after enabling the links to them.
- Excellent crib sheet!
- There are many subtopics in the side navigation bar. Is there any way they could somehow be joined together?
- The "confused" links are a great idea!
- It is not necessary to make a link to the next consecutive page at the bottom of each page. The user can just as easily use the prior and next buttons in the side navigation bar.
Page-Specific Suggestions:
- Electric Field Due to a Line Charge: Discover and Collaborate: Are there answers to the questions at the bottom of these pages?
Use of Alternate Media
- The titles of the text which are recommended should be links to information about them.
- Is there any way to make more use of the application pages by linking the user to related web pages?
HTML Programmer Notes
- Electric Field Due to a Line Charge: Discover: In the middle the link curl goes no where.
Java Programmer Notes
- A button should activate all applets that display motion.
- Flux and Gauss's Law: Discover: The three situations in the first question are labeled (a), (b), and (c). However, these labels are completely to the left, nowhere near the pictures. These labels need to be moved closer to the graphics..
Graphics Notes
- Nice graphic work!
Platform/Browser-Specific Problems
- Internet Explorer:
- The spreadsheet on Uniformly Charged Sphere does not open in a new window when its link is clicked.
- Netscape Navigator:
- None
