Re: [nafex] Fillipa Apple

Big Swede, I have taken a great interest in the Scandinavian apple
varieties since we share a very similar maritime climate here in Southeast
Alaska with these countries. We currently have on trial the following
varieties by country of origin: SWEDEN - Akero, Aroma, Kavlas, Mai, Maikki,
Make, Mio, Pirja, Ringstad, Rott Jarnpple, Safstaholm, Samo, Snovit,
Sparreholm, Suislepper, Sylvia. FINLAND - Gallen, Gold Canel, Huvitus,
Kuotesaho, Red Canel, Red Cinnamon, Sokeri Miron. DENMARK - Guldborg,
Huidobro, Pederstrup, Skovfoged, Sonderskov. I know I shouldn't mention
this but I have often wondered why we have never come across an apple
variety from Norway. Happy Holidays. Jerry Appleseed
