Hi Evan,

I'm unsure of the term mature aquaponics but the ppm puzzle can be unravell=
ed by two possibilities (surmised that is:>) assuming you are just comparin=
g aquaponics and synthetic hydroponics. 1/ because aquaponics consists of o=
rganic molecules (organic matter) the use of an EC/TDS meter to acquire dat=
a is often (usually) comprimised. [I posted supportive info regarding this =
previously] 2/ aquaponics still relies to a mafor degree on microbial proce=
ssing and/or root dissolved organic nitrogen (DON) (nutrients) therefore nu=
trients in sequestered form would not be readable by EC.

In regards to the manure>vermicompost question if you mean digested by worm=
s, they were both digested during a 9 month period...but I suspect this is =
not what you mean.

BTW, I am not anti-longterm brewing. If you look through the archives you w=
ill find that I took a lot of flack for reporting on my 72 hour and several=
day brews. [oh; I began here as Titel Ryzhomer, my pseudonym] If one is un=
dertaking this and actually selling the product to the public, one would be=
foolhardy to not be evaluating with a scope and DO2 meter.

Salutations,
Tim
