John:  I've been using ACT for 3 years now.  Home brewer with just a
powerful aquarium pump.  Nothing special with the equipment.

The yard and garden plants have benefitted alot from ACT.  Healthy,
dense growth throughout the yard/garden.  Worms are more plentiful
and soil more friable.

ACT is not the only amendment I use.  I add copius amounts of
organic material to the soil each year.  However, I've always done
that.  Even so, ACT helped make the plants more healthy and robust.
Disease is no longer a problem.  Scab on fruit trees gone, wilts on
tomato plants gone, powdery mildew outbreaks in damp weather gone,
black spot gone, etc., etc., etc.

Try it you'll like it.  I purchased the Compost Tea Brewing Manual
from the Soilfood Web and followed Dr. Ingham's instructions.  Also,
go the "files" section of this group and review the files discussing
brewing techniques, etc.
