Re: bird control
Birds are a problem for lots of us. Some of the corn growers in Central
NY have used these scarey owl faces mounted on poles about 10 ft. tall
that blow in the wind. They seem to work for a while and folks do not
usually use them for many years. They are for sale in most major farm
magazines, way in the back. A frisky bird dog that loves to chase birds
in the seeded down fields might discourage the birds or along the feeder
bunk. Avitrol does work if it is legal in your area. Fed Wild life guys
put out some trials near a refuge near us and they worked fairly well.
Lots of luck.
