By "record", of course, I mean highest number in the official ABA record 
books by someone who abided by their "Big Day" rules. I'm sure many folks 
have seen more than 80 species in NC on a day in September, but either 
they were not ABA members, they didn't bird under the ABA Big Day rules, 
or they just didn't feel like mailing in a report. Having done it a few 
times myself, it's not much harder than sending in CBC or NAMC data 
though...
