Hello y'all,
While piddling around the yard this p.m., after the morning's
activities with Jack Peachey, I was treated to close looks of a very
sociable Blue-headed Vireo, numerous Ruby-crowned Kinglets,
White-throated Sparrows, Dark-eyed Juncos and a pair of Chippies that
seemed to be attached to one of the feeders. But the bird of the day
showed up at 2:30 p.m., a Ruby-throated hummer that sipped from the
feeder, then proceeded to give the Pineapple sage and salvia remnants a
thorough going over. Saw it again around 4 p.m. The first RTHU I've seen
since 10/24.
Hope everybody had as an enjoyable day as I did.
Cheers,
GP
