Antoinette's picks

I might as well start off by offering up my pick for the worst site I have found. You can find this site at http://www.teddy.co.uk/docs/main/intro.html
This is the site for the English Teddy Bear Company. They make these adorable, handmade teddy bears which are instant collectibles. Each teddy bear has a name, and the site includes pictures of a bunch of bears. I decided to visit the site to find my bear, Gloucester, which I received as a gift last summer.

Little did I know that not only does the English Teddy Bear Company make teddy bears but they also make all kinds of products featuring their bears, including teddy bear tea, t-shirts, polo shirts, etc. When I searched for their home page, I found links to many of the pages that contained these products, but they did not include links back to the home page. The worst thing about the site, I found, was that the intro page, which can be found at the URL listed above, is not connected to any of the other pages. Keep clicking on the graphics. Nothing's going to happen.

Another bad thing about this site was that I never found a picture of my bear, Gloucester. The site was an extremely frustrating one, indeed.

The best site that I have found is at http://www.adobe.com/homepage.shtml
This site is absolutely wonderful. Adobe is the company that makes Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, which are two of the programs used by many people in the graphic design field. The site is simple yet full of information. It is extremely well organized, and the colors used for the site don't appear gaudy or too "loud." This is my favorite web site.
