At its meeting Tuesday night, the Carrboro Board of Aldermen recommended that the county approve the appointment of Margo Lester as Carrboro’s representative to the Orange County Human Relations Commission.

The board also approved the appointments of Carly Apple, Mary Rabinowitz and Ryan Elting to the town’s Environmental Advisory Board.

In other action, the board added representatives from the Town of Chapel Hill, Orange County and the Home Builders Association of Durham, Chatham and Orange counties to the Northern Study Area Plan Implementation Review Committee.

Orange County commissioner Barry Jacobs will represent the county, Margaret Campion will represent Chapel Hill and Frank Thomas will represent the homebuilders.
