Southern village charrette

Posted on June 7, 2007 by Staff

The developers of the Village Center in Southern Village will hold a planning charette on Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Ascension Hall at Christ United Methodist Church, 800 Market Street.
The charrette will focus on the central parking lot in the village center, which is owned by SV Center. The firm’s managing partners want to gather feedback to determine if a building should be designed for the lot space to complete the village center and, if so, what the building’s uses and design should be.
For a new building to be approved, the existing 70 parking spaces plus adequate parking for the new building would have to be replaced with structured parking.
The charrette organizers have asked that those who plan to attend send an email to info@bryan-properties.com, so they’ll know how much coffee and food to provide.
