The nuptials of Dave Robertson and Stephanie Townsend were center stage at Local 506 Saturday night, June 16.
Mr. Robertson’s best man was Ed Crawford. Ms. Townsend’s bridesmaid was Coleen Dorr. The bride was given away by her son, Zack Townsend. The ceremony was officiated by Rev. Jamie McPhail of Alamance County.
Music for the event was provided by Phil Lee, Chip Robinson, the Countdown Quartet and Dexter and Sara Romweber.
Catering for the wedding was provided by the Barbecue Joint and included barbecue, barbecued chicken, ice-box pickles and cheese grits with pesto.
The couple’s cakes — a white layer cake with chocolate hazelnut filling and a white layer cake with coconut cream cheese frosting and lemon custard filling — were created by Xela Intrator of Every Whim Catering.
The nightclub, which was once owned in part by Mr. Robertson, was heavily redecorated for the occasion by Linda Fullwood and Nancy Fantozzi.
The couple began their honeymoon with a short jaunt to the mountains before heading to Emerald Isle for a week’s stay.
Upon their return, the couple will make their home in northern Orange County.
There is good in this world. There’s a picture of some good right there!
