  • Annual Fish Fry Event – St. Paul A.M.E. Church will hold its annual Fish Fry on Oct 6, 11am-4pm, at 101 N Merritt Mill Rd, Chapel Hill. Tickets are $8 and may be purchased by calling 967-3961.

  • Fiddle Fantasy Tour – Sun, Sept 30, 2-3pm. Families with small kids are invited to this free event at the Botanical Garden.   • 18th Annual Haw River Learning Celebration – A volunteer-run nature science event for area 4th graders. Through Oct 12 at 3 sites on the Haw River. We need people to come for a day, camp for a week (camping crew has the most fun!), provide a meal for the crew, and more. No experience necessary.
