The Graham High School Red Devils were unfortunate to be the victim of a CHS slump breaker as the Jaguars won for the first time in eight games, crushing GHS 9 to 5 on Wednesday, September 26. The first three-goal performance in CHS history was achieved by junior Will Powell with Charlie Martin notching his first two goals of the season and Robert Kenny, Oliver Miller-Finkel, John Pamplin and Keith Dell posting some fine goals. Gus Brighton had five saves while five shots slid past him. The Jaguars scored first but never trailed as pesky GHS tried to keep in step.
