Why do you want to be elected to the school board?

I’ve dedicated my career to youth services and my volunteer efforts to my children’s schools. Serving on the school board is a chance to combine what I have learned in both venues to help make our schools as effective as possible. This district is faced with the challenge of helping all students achieve to their potential, while it copes with the demands of a rapidly growing student population. I will use my listening, communication and advocacy skills to ensure that the county and the school board work in concert to make sure our students are maximizing their potential.
