Carrboro High School to stage first production
Carrboro High School drama students will stage their first production, “Curious Savage,” tonight (Thursday), Friday and Saturday.

The production, directed by Brooke Linefsky, is a comedy written by John Patrick.

The performances will be held at 7:30 each night at the East Chapel Hill High School Auditorium. Tickets are $7 and will be available at the door.

Program for parents of special-needs children
Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools will sponsor “The ABC’s of Exceptional Children’s Education Programs” on November 26 from 6:45-8:30 p.m. at the Carolina Center for Education Excellence at Smith Middle School.

The program is an informational evening for parents of special-needs students that has been designed to improve communication between parents and school administrations.

The program will include an overview of exceptional children’s programs and classes and a presentation by the Special Needs Advisory Council.

Childcare will be available for children ages 5-11. Parents must register for childcare by November 16 by calling 967-8211, ext. 234.
