Pajama donation
The North Carolina chapter of the Pajama Program recently donated more than 200 new sets of children’s pajamas to the Orange County Department of Social Services’ holiday programs.

The department donated the pajamas to low-income, at-risk children in Orange County. The Pajama Program is a national not-for-profit organization that provides new pajamas and books to children in need across the country and around the world.

To donate to the Pajama Program, contact Marcey Cring at 402-1363.

The department’s Orange County Toy Chest and Share Your Holiday programs, which provide new toys and clothing for low-income Orange County children, still need donations and sponsors. To make a donation or sponsor a family, contact Serena McPherson or Beachy Sanders at 245-2800. Corporate sponsors should contact Sharron Hinton at 245-2840.
