The concert will feature the world premiere of “A Singular Continuity” by Michael Kosorok, who earned a master’s degree in music composition from the University of Wisconsin and is the father of Jessica Kosorok, a senior violinist in the orchestra. The orchestra will also present three senior quartets performing Ravel, Dvorak and Mozart led by senior coaches Will Myers, Gina Balamucki and Kate Brynildsen.
Tickets are $6 for adults and $3 for students and will be available at the door.

• The Chapel Hill High School symphonic band and percussion ensembles will present an evening of multicultural music at 7:30 p.m. next Thursday.

The groups will perform music from Spanish, Caribbean, African, Korean and Russian musical traditions.
The performances are free and open to the public.

• The East Chapel Hill High School Choral Department will perform their annual Winter Concert on December 7 at 7:30 p.m.

The Concert Choir, Treble Ensemble, East Ensemble, East Men, Show Choir, Alley Cats, Chiefs of Staff and female barbershop quartet will perform at the concert.
The concert will be held in the East Chapel Hill High School Auditorium. Tickets will be available at the door for $5.
