Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools has formed a long-range facilities committee that will meet this winter and spring to review the district’s construction needs, and the public is invited to submit input via a new district blog.
The committee will be directed by Steve Scroggs, assistant superintendent for support services. Scroggs has created the “Bowtie Blog†as a medium for public discourse around the issues covered by the committee, such as the use of alternative spaces for classrooms and the expansion of current facilities.
The blog will be hosted on the district’s website, www.chccs.k12.nc.us, under the “Quick Links†section.
