Triem tagged

Posted on January 10, 2008January 18, 2008 by Staff

The empty Triem building on South Greensboro Street has seen a growing popularity among graffitti painters. On this week’s Opinion page, one local resident says it’s
time to paint over the marks to discourage the practice.

Absolutely gang tagging should be painted over immediately; the police know this. Otherwise more gangs and more more conflicts follow.

Artistic expression by non-gangs (regulated participation) can/should be given its own space…but that is a separate issue.

I don’t see any gang tagging in the pictures shown.
