Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools received several awards at the North Carolina School Public Relations Association’s annual Blue Ribbon Awards for Excellence in Communication celebration in January.
The district received awards for four of its publications, including the 2005-06 Annual Report, the 2007-08 Parent Calendar and Handbook, the 2007-08 Study Skills Series and the 2007-08 Academy posters and informational brochures. The winning publications have been entered in the National School Public Relations Association’s Golden Achievement Awards, which will be announced in July.
The NCSPRA presented 99 awards to school systems across the state in its annual tribute to outstanding publications, marketing campaigns, electronic media, websites, photography and excellence in writing.
