Community Brief: New Cornucopia House executive director

The Cornucopia House Cancer Support Center has announced the appointment of Mary M. Lawrence as the organization’s new executive director. Lawrence, an experienced nonprofit manager, has served as the CEO for several social service and health organizations and she has an established history of bringing creative thinking to the nonprofit sector. Additionally, she has provided consulting and coaching services to nonprofit leaders in areas such as volunteerism, community relations and board development.

Lawrence identifies closely with the mission of Cornucopia House to provide comprehensive support services to people with cancer, their families and their caregivers. Services include support groups, restorative yoga, health and educational programs and more. All support services and programs provided by Cornucopia House are free of charge and open to anyone who has been touched by cancer. For information, visit cornucopiahouse.org.
