Cedar Ridge High School sophomore Noah Decker will attend the National Young Leaders Conference in Washington D.C. this summer.
Students are selected to attend the conference based on their scholastic merit and demonstrated leadership abilities.
The conference is aimed at providing talented high school students with the opportunity to witness history in the making and meet the leaders who fundamentally affect the workings of the executive, legislative and judicial branches of the federal government.
Decker is interested in domestic policy, in particular the economy and the environment, and hopes the conference will give him some guidance for his future career path.
