Community Brief: Cybrary book election

Posted on June 26, 2008 by Staff

The Carrboro Cybrary is asking patrons to vote for their favorite books in preparation for the general election in November.

Readers are invited to vote for their favorite fiction, non-fiction and political books of the 21st century, as well as their favorite books of all time. The Cybrary will choose two of the winners to add to their highly selective permanent collection. Each voter will receive an “I Vote for Books” sticker and the chance to win a book by Barack Obama and one by John McCain. Patrons can vote for books at the Carrboro Cybrary at 100 N. Greensboro St. until August 16.

The Cybrary will also provide potential voters with voter registration forms and links to voting resources at del.icio.us/cybrary.
