Sports: High school report

FOOTBALL

Carrboro
Last Friday, Carrboro High School lost to Cedar Ridge High School at Cedar Ridge, 34-21. David Brooks rushed for 94 yards with 16 carries for Carrboro. The Jaguars face Northwood at home at 7:30 p.m. Friday.

East Chapel Hill
Also on Friday, East Chapel Hill High School lost at home to South Granville High School, 34-0. Bosely rushed for three touchdowns for South Granville. The Wildcats’ next game is Friday, 7 p.m. at home.

Chapel Hill
Last Saturday, Chapel Hill defeated Southern Alamance 28-13 at Chapel Hill. Stephen Moore had 34 carries for 247 yards and four touchdowns for Chapel Hill. The Tigers face Person at home at 7 p.m. Friday.

SOCCER

Carrboro
Carrboro defeated Northwood 3-0 at Northwood Monday to break a three-game losting streak after an undefeated start. They will face Orange High School at home on Wednesday at 7 p.m.

East Chapel Hill
East Chapel Hill High beat Southern Durham Monday evening 8-0 at Southern Durham. Six different players scored for the Wildcats. Their next game is against New Hanover High Saturday at 10 a.m. at home.

Chapel Hill
Chapel Hill lost 5-1 at Riverside Monday evening , with five different players scoring for Riverside. The Tigers’ play against New Hanover at home, 6 p.m.
