Orange County seeks applicants for the Orange County Housing Authority Board.
The goal of the housing authority is to provide decent, safe and sanitary housing for the low- and moderate-income families of Orange County. The authority is governed by a seven-member board, appointed by the Orange County Board of Commissioners for staggered terms of no more than five years each.

At least one member of the board will be a Section 8 voucher holder. Other board members may represent real estate, development, affordable housing, real estate and/or municipal law and banking.

For an application or more information, contact the office of the clerk to the board at 245-2125 or email athompson-rockett@co.orange.nc.us. To complete an application online, visit www.co.orange.nc.us and click on the Volunteer Boards icon.
