Holiday Band Concert — Thursday, Dec 11, 7:30pm. Hanes Theatre. Concert features the CHHS 9th grade concert band, the symphonic band, and percussion ensemble. www.hanestheatre.org

Annual Holiday Pajama Party— Dec 12, 6-8pm. Ackland Art Museum will feature readings from classic stories. Children are encouraged to wear pajamas. Free.

Youth Concert — Dec. 13, 5pm. Piedmont Youth Orchestra presents string ensemble concert at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 300 Rosemary St. in Chapel Hill. Free. 942-5010
