Phillips students named to honor band

Nine Phillips Middle School musicians have been named to North Carolina Central District Honors Bands.

Selected students include: Koya Osada, flute, symphonic band; Corentin Le Hir De Fallois, flute, symphonic band; Anna Quercia-Thomas, flute, concert band; Nina Pande, flute, concert band; Audrey Copeland, trumpet, symphonic band; Justin Morrell, trumpet, concert band; Nathan Cho, alto saxophone, symphonic band; Grace Gelpi, alto saxophone, symphonic band; and Alex Young, trombone, symphonic band.

Cho is also eligible for a North Carolina Honors Band audition. All of the students will participate in the Central District Honors Band clinic and concert on Friday and Saturday at Asheboro High School.
