Carrboro Police are looking for a suspect in connection with a rape that occurred in the Prince Street area last week.

According to Capt. J.G. Booker, an 18-year-old woman reported that she was raped by two men just before midnight on April 9. She told police she knew the men only as “J” and “O,” and knew them through other acquaintances.
Police identified “J” as James Lorenzo Little, 20, of 305 Barclay Road, Chapel Hill, and charged him with second-degree rape. He is being held in Orange County Jail under $130,000 bond.

The other suspect, “O,” is described as a black male in his early 20s, about 6 feet tall, with braided hair with blue beads at the ends.

Police encourage anyone with information about the suspect to contact the Carrboro Police Department at 918-7411.
