Local artist Rick Hermanson began designing the uncommon garden seven years ago. Today, this formerly ordinary backyard is an intricate web of sculptural landscapes. Every square foot has been transformed into an exotic natural wonderland, with artful snakes, dragons, water features and more.
The garden is open to the public on May 2 as a fundraising benefit for The ArtsCenter. Tickets are $25. The rain date is May 9. For more information, visit uncommongardentour.com
