Town seeks public input on greenways

The Town of Carrboro will hold two workshops in May and June to gather input as staff develops conceptual plans for greenways along Bolin Creek, Jones Creek and Morgan Creek.

A workshop on May 20 will focus on plans for a Bolin Creek greenway and another along Jones Creek. The workshop will be held at the Homestead Community Center at 600 Homestead Road from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m.
In addition, the town will hold a workshop on June 15 to gather input for plans for a Morgan Creek greenway. The workshop will be held at Frank Porter Graham Elementary School at 101 Smith Level Road from 4:30 to 7 p.m.

Town staff, project consultants and members of the Greenways Commission will be available to discuss the projects at both workshops.
