Chatham Habitat to offer homes

Posted on May 7, 2009 by Staff

Chatham Habitat for Humanity, in partnership with homebuilder Van Groce of Custom Contracting Corporation, is offering home ownership opportunities in the Chatham Oak subdivision for nurses, teachers, municipal employees and other middle-income workers.

All homes in the neighborhood are priced below $165,000, with monthly payments of less than $1,000. While Chatham Habitat for Humanity typically serves homebuyers earning $17,000 to $35,000 a year, Chatham Oak homes will be available to a wider segment of the workforce, including families of four earning up to $48,000 a year.
