Folk performance

Posted on September 17, 2009 by Staff

Folk artist Jeff Warner will be performing in the auditorium of Cedar Ridge High School at 7 p.m. on Oct. 16. Warner performs his traditional American folk music in schools throughout America and abroad and uses his banjo, concertina and “pocket instruments,” such as spoons, bones and a Jew’s harp, to connect his audiences with the past through humorous songs of the 19th century. Tickets are $5 and children get in free. The show is hosted by the Cedar Ridge Student Government and the Parent, Teacher, Student Organization.
