UNC football game

UNC has a home football game today. Heavy traffic is expected and some of the bus routes will change. Here are some things to know:

•The UNC Hospitals and UNC Hospitals Clinics will close at 3 p.m.

•Triangle Transit will provide additional afternoon service on the following routes: 412, 402, 550 and 420 (operated by Chapel Hill Transit). All regularly scheduled bus services also will be provided.

•Kick-off is at 8 p.m.; the stadium will open to fans at 6:30. The game is expected to be over around 11:20. Tar Heel Express and Touch Downtown shuttles will begin at 5 p.m. Tar Heel Town will open at 5:30. and the Old Well Walk will begin at about 5:45 As is Carolina tradition, fireworks will announce the start of the game, touchdowns and a win.
