Four Carrboro High School students will be honored April 28 by the West Triangle Chapter of the United Nations Association of the United States. Juniors Bradli Crump, Jordan Thomas, Sam Stargel and Reade Paterno submitted PowerPoint presentations for the 2010 United Nations Student Contest. Crump’s addressed the Palestine/Israel conflict, while the one produced by Thomas, Stargel and Paterno was about Yemen.
Crump will receive a cash award, certificate and UN pin for her first-place entry. The team of Thomas, Stargel and Paterno will split a cash award and receive certificates and pins for its third-place entry.
