From Kansas to Carrboro

Posted on March 18, 2010 by Staff

In time for the windy season, Century Center Cinema is presenting the 1939 classic The Wizard of Oz on Friday, March 26 at Carrboro’s Century Center. Musician Jeff Hart and friends will open the evening with rootsy versions of the classic Oz songs.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with live music starting at 7 and the film at 7:20. (Bring your iPod if you want to do the Dark Side of the Moon thing; remember to start the album on the third roar of the MGM lion.)

Cost is $4 per person with free popcorn and soda. For information, centurycentercinema.com
