CCCC hosts robotics workshop

Posted on March 25, 2010March 25, 2010 by Staff

You don’t have to be a scientist to have fun with robotics.

This Saturday, Central Carolina Community College’s electronics engineering technology program is sponsoring a high-tech, high-touch robotics workshop for middle school-age students. “High Tech-High Touch” will take place from 8:30 a.m. to noon at CCCC’s Lee County campus in Sanford.

Students and their parent or adult mentors will build a working robot to keep. They will test it and participate in a robot race. All participants must register in advance as student/adult pairs. Registration is $22 per pair. To register, contact Virginia Brown at 718-7347.
