Posted on April 22, 2010April 22, 2010 by Staff

The Orange and Chatham chapter of the Autism Society of North Carolina (ASNCOC) will hold a fundraiser at 7 p.m. on Saturday at Spice Street in University Mall as part of National Autism Awareness Month.

Proceeds from the event will support programs and education to benefit community members with autism. Autism is diagnosed in one in 110 children and in one in 70 boys.

ASNCOC has launched a new website, asncoc.org, that will focus on providing Orange and Chatham county Autism Spectrum Disorder families with information on local resources, support groups and events.
