Orange County’s Animal Services Department will host a $5 rabies vaccination clinic on Tuesday from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Animal Services Center at 1601 Eubanks Road.
Dogs must be on leashes and cats must be in carriers. The Orange County Animal Services clinic uses public education, outreach, investigations and rabies enforcement to address the epidemic of Eastern raccoon rabies.
In Orange County in 2009, there were 12 confirmed cases of rabies, compared with 20 in 2008.
