Council mulls budget

The Chapel Hill Town Council held a budget work session Wednesday evening to nail down final points in the town’s 2010-11 budget. The board is scheduled to adopt a final version of the budget on June 7.

Town Manager Roger Stancil has proposed a $52.6 million budget. The proposal maintains the town’s tax rate at 49.4 cents per $100 valuation.
