Tyler named interim director

Posted on June 24, 2010 by Staff

Janice Tyler will take over the Orange County Department on Aging after serving as head of the Senior Centers Administration for 23 years. She replaces Jerry Passmore, who is retiring after 30 years of service. Tyler also publishes the department’s Senior Times and serves as chair of the Senior Centers Alliance.

“We greatly appreciate Janice’s willingness to take on this additional responsibility and know she will do an excellent job as interim Aging director,” said Frank Clifton, Orange County manager. “She is well-known and respected in the community and has extensive knowledge of program operations of all department divisions.”
