Chapel Hill (0-2) again failed to gain their first win of the 2010 season last Friday against county rival Cedar Ridge (1-1). The Red Wolves took control of the game following a deceptively promising offensive drive early on by the Tigers that was cut short by a fumble at the 3 yard line. Cedar Ridge quarterback Cam Pappas had a phenomenal outing, producing three touchdown passes and 180 yards of offense. The lone Chapel Hill strike came in the form of a 44-yard bomb from reserve QB Brooks Benton to Amoris Thompson.
The Tigers will host 4A rival Durham Riverside on Friday.
