River Watch training

Posted on September 2, 2010 by Staff

The Haw River Assembly will sponsor a Haw River Watch Project event on Sept. 11 from 10 a.m. to noon. The project focuses on stream-side training on river monitoring for water quality on the Haw River in Bynum, and the event is free and open to the public. Attendees should bring waterproof boots or water shoes, if possible, and meet at the old Bynum mill parking lot. Visit the River Watch Page on the Haw River Assembly’s website, hawriver.org, to learn more. To register for the event, email Cynthia Crossen at crossen@hawriver.org or call at 967-2500. To cancel, call Crossen at 542-3827 before 9:20 a.m. the day of the event. In case of rain, the event will be canceled.
