Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools was honored recently at the Technology and Learning Conference as one of the Top 100 U.S. School Districts in Digital Technology.
The Center for Digital Education and the National School Boards Association, presenters of the award, annually conduct an online survey of district technology practices, particularly the use of technology in communication. CHCCS was number two on the list of school districts with an enrollment between 2,500 and 15,000 students.
Chief technology officer Ray Reitz, web architect Scott Latimore, assistant to the superintendent for community relations Stephanie Knott and publications assistant Robin Nucilli contribute to and maintain the district’s digital communications projects.
