Positive behavior recognized

Posted on November 4, 2010 by Staff

Eight Chapel Hill-Carrboro schools were recognized by the N.C. Department of Public Instruction for their efforts at adopting Positive Behavior Intervention and Support.

Smith Middle School, Carrboro Elementary School and Scroggs Elementary School were designated Exemplar Schools, while Ephesus Elementary School, Estes Hills Elementary School, Glenwood Elementary School and McDougle Elementary School were named Model Schools. McDougle Middle School was named a Green Ribbon School.

The schools will receive banners in January at a recognition ceremony, where exemplar schools will be asked to share their implementation models.
