The Chapel Hill Police Department is seeking information regarding a strong-arm robbery that occurred on Nov. 5 around 12:30 p.m. in the parking lot of the State Employees Credit Union at 110 S. Elliott Road.
The suspect is described as a heavy-set black male in his mid-30s with facial hair and gaps in his teeth. The suspect was seen driving an old black pickup truck, possibly a Chevrolet S-10. White lettering was reported to be on the side of the truck and also in the back window.

Information sought in thefts
The UNC Department of Public Safety is calling on the public to help identify suspects in the investigation of an Oct. 21 breaking-and-entering/felonious larceny that occurred at Kenan Football Center. Objects reported stolen included football helmets and numerous other items of football equipment.
