Trinity School of Durham and Chapel Hill recently announced a new scholarship program for students of color.
Community Scholarships for Students of Color are targeted at prospective sixth though tenth graders who have strong academic records and love to learn. The school is looking for students who will enhance the school’s community of learners and demonstrate high levels of integrity, character and leadership. Scholarship winners will have $5,000 a year applied to their tuition charges.
The scholarships, funded by a recent donation to the school, are the first merit scholarships to be offered by Trinity School.
