Morris Grove Elementary School students raised more than $5,200 for the American Heart Association through the school’s third annual Jump Rope for Heart event last month.
Every student at the school participated in the event by being physically active for at least 45 minutes on Feb. 14. Students visited the gym to demonstrate their jump rope skills, listen to their hearts with stethoscopes, practice hula hooping and participate in other high-energy activities.
Students also collected $5,204.84 in donations for the American Heart Association.
